| Whaleback

| History

Seeing its first appearance in its current incarnation as a signature model for Skjold artist, Damian Erskine, the Whaleback has become an iconic representation of what Skjold Design Guitars offers to the bass playing world. Designed and refined over many years, the Whaleback offers the same incredible playability, consistency, ergonomics and amazing sound production that Skjold Design builds into every instrument. While an option for all basses, this model is often paired with ramps for the serious finger style player. Not only is this Skjold-pioneered solution an incredibly practical addition, it further lends the Whaleback its modern appearance, while simultaneously being timeless as a complete package.
