Skjold Tone Audio was established after my more than thirty years of playing, building, and listening to various bass guitars. Not to mention my collaboration with many top pickup makers and preamp designers. It is my hope you will find these preamps and pickups very musical in tone, as well as easy and straightforward to use. The preamps were designed with what I feel are very musical center frequencies that will work with many wood combinations and still allow tailoring of your tone.

The components are of the highest quality and intended to offer years of lasting performance. My pickups and preamps are uniquely tailored for use in my instruments.

As with everything I do, I am constantly looking and investigating  the best products that can be incorperated into the total Skjold experience. Rest assured as time goes on there will be more unique products added to our Skjold Tone Audio family of products.
